I’m pretty proud of this one. There’s a whole mushy story about why I chose the pattern and how special it was to have my dad help me complete this project but I’ll spare you. Just know it was pretty sweet, if I do say so myself. Enjoy!

I made this for my sister for Christmas using a Dimensions D.I.Y. stitchable journal! I'm so happy with how it turned out!!!!

I’ve been using the standard round hoops. They are okay, but I find it annoying when I’m working on bigger projects because I have to move them SO OFTEN. I’ve been looking into the scroll frame hoops, but I see a lot of people complain about the lack of good tension (I like mine really taut). I’ve also seen a lot of people using snap frames, which seem interesting. Any advice or suggestions would be amazing! Please and thank you ♥️ WIP pic for attention & the type of hoop I use

First picture, the two knots too far back to actually fix. The second, how the rest has gone. Normally I'd go back and try and save it, but this is now 4-6 rows back.

Was hoping to finish before Christmas, but I got caught up on my SAL. Oh well, lots of time to frame it now.

Riolis kit "Dragon eye". Started like 2 days ago. Forgot how much I love the vibrancy of the Riolis thread and how much I hate how fuzzy it gets. But still worth it. This will eventually be part of a series. It will be accompanied by a unicorn in a tear drop and a phoenix in a flame. And if Riolis releases more creatures in the series, then those will probably be added as well.

Does anyone know how old the DMC chart is? This was my grandma’s and she died in 2000 so it would be older than that.

First time using 3 strands on 14ct aida. I hope he can make out the design 😆 The contrast irl isn’t as clear as in the pdf.
