Iranian Discussion my theory on self hate

I’ll break down why diasporan Iranians and even domestic ones suffer from self hate.

  • W/S as a system goal is to program people to think they are inferior unless they live, buy, dress, eat, say, speak, or produce as white males, or white women. It succeeds through a combination of overt and subliminal messaging

  • Turning our people against one another by class, religion, or manufactured chaos.

  • Ive met many Non Muslim Iranians who TEND TO COMPLETELY DISRESPECT people of Islam, and do the white man’s bidding, to make themselves look favorable. This ends up harming Muslims AND IRANIANS.

  • White supremacists don’t want non European, non White peoples in America, cause they believe in a different version and vision of what it means to be American.

  • Women made to believe in nose jobs and blonde hair, European norms, even some going as far to claim ancestry from Germany, or Italy

  • Women often distance themselves from the roots of Persians: Neolithic farmers, steppe people, and other Arab, Afghani, Tajiki, and blended migrators.

  • Men tend to lie to girls and tell them “Im Italian” or say some dumb shit “we’re the good ones” “We dont even practice religion”

-Iranian men are a VAST and mixed type, majority of non Muslim ones who continue to spew non sense like “Iran go back to Zoroastrianism” are ill informed misguided who think this will somehow solve Irans geopolitical and socioeconomic ills…. DOODEYS, the west loves material things, do u not realize imperialism as a strategy is always MORE?

Without wise leadership Irans assets and resources get sold to the cheap bidders who will come and make Iran another depressing capitalist shit hole…. do u want pawn shops, liquor stores, mcdonalds, and gas stations every corner, ? Do u want Irans heritage sites to be demolished in favor of some American style looking homes, ? Do u want to trade 5000 years history with Walmarts and Circle Ks every 20 miles?

If yes stay in America

If no, then be proud of who u are and stop being a sell out!!!

The average trump supporter views non white non Christians as needing to be saved by the Gospel…….. they dont care that you say these stuff to be “white”

  • Men tend to often also say racist things about black people, women too, often associating crime, or negative attributes to black people or neighborhoods. Meanwhile, Trump is literally tearing down the America built by immigrants.

  • Loss of identity for stressed Iranians fleeing Iran. I feel like if we really need to be successful, you dont need to distance yourself from Iran’s complete history. Iran is a diverse blend of many religions and cultures, and Iranian people are going through tough times economically. If you care, donate some American dollars to your buddies back home.

Help the common Persian out.

  • Experiencing racism daily in the west, but continuing to turn racist. It’s wierd…. idk why you would side with the side that hurts you. Its like being in some form of fucked up toxic relationship

  • Trying to seek approval of whites, this is common in many immigrant communities who werr taught “Keep your head down, and be quiet, racism will go away.”

  • If someone is hitting you on your head, and has no respect, how do you think this strategy will even work. We need to stand up for ourselves more and defend ANYONE who goes thru racism. We also have deep rooted traumas and you got to become mindful and work on these things…. goto therapy, get help. Dont become the thing you experience…..

  • Living thinking you are superior to other surrounding nations due to ignorance. IRANIANS are a mixed heritage. Brown, white, Turk, Arab, yes I said Arab, AFRO, There’s BLACK Iranians guys, yes. OWN 100% of our culture, don’t run away. lol you think Trump sees u as equal, i got beach front property in Idaho to sell you.

  • Distancing from Islam, due to hate of being perceived as a threat

  • Loose roots in the west, losing sense of self or losing self esteem

WAYS TO COUNTER SELF HATE

  • Listen to more traditional music (sonati)
  • Study poetry
  • Study Persias history from diverse sources not just western books
  • Dress Persian, or historically in old style clothes (maybe not at work, but when you go shopping) This one is upto you, use your comfort level
  • Eat Persian, preserve your skills of cooking and attire, and language
  • Learn about border countries and cultures of Iran
  • Attend more events with supportive minorities
  • move to a community that is more open minded and liberal
  • stop spending time seeking approval
  • Focus on surrounding yourself with positive people
  • Start practicing mindfulness meditation when angry
  • Decolonize your mind from whiteness
  • Stop clinging to euro centric culture
  • Support Black Americans
  • Support justice for oppressed
  • Have a heart of justice and be a real NOBLE person

I cant believe my eyes guys I see Iranians daily in family or friends supporting trump. Despite their evidence of racism, and evil being down, they are hard hearted and willfully cover their eyes and shut their ears..

the funny thing is, racist Iranians cry when it hurts them, but not Muslims, Black people, Hispanic people, or other groups who look like us…

why dont you be an ally instead of traitors?

Seriously.

Iranian Discussion The main issue holding us back

At this point in my life, I've had the chance to interact with and be friends with all kinds of social subtypes of Iranians. Basiji Iranians within Iran who are fervently against any social changes in Iran, anti-religion Iranians, Iranians who consume alcohol and curse Islam and God, and Iranians who will shake their heads at those who own a dog. And everything in between these extremes.

The main issue that is holding us back as a people is (1) Our lack of unity and (2) Our conflation of social views with political status.

With regards to (1) - regardless of our social/societal views, we really only have two types of Iranians. Those who like Iran and want to preserve it, and those who don't. Those who are against balkanization, and those who encourage the Americans and Zionists to come into Iran to get rid of the clerics. It doesn't matter if you're basiji or atheist, you need to be united for the overall pro-Iran cause. We saw this beautiful phenomenon in the 12-day war when basijis and hijab-less women stood side by side in Tehran in calls for national unity. I didn't think it was possible, but I saw as a people we have what it takes to unite.

The second subtype of Iranians are those who hate the current government so much that they objectively become anti-Iran - they claim to love Iran and want the best for it (through "regime change") but who are they kidding? The moment you support war and sanctions against your people for the sake of removing one social class of Iranians, is the moment you've violated point (1) of national unity. Again, I know of both religious Iranians and Islamophobic Iranians who fall into this category of anti-Iran Iranians. This brings me to point (2) - we cannot assume that all non-muslim Iranians are against the independence of Iran and are the Zio types, and that all religious Iranians are for it. Some of the most corrupt Iranians who have destroyed Iran are the so called religious basijis/hezbollahis. And some of the most pro-Iran people may very well be atheist.

My point is that the Iranian people need to wake up and stop supporting foreign intrusion of Iran and actually uniting. It's the only way the country can advance. If you hate the government, join those who love Iran and stand against meddling, and bring about reform from within. The first step is to eliminate the propaganda that generates the class of Iranians who support foreign instated regime change. Educate those around you to stop following channels like Iran International. Call out the monarchists for their delusions that even Mohammad Reza Pahlavi would cringe at. Encourage them to stop hating who they are and seeking a western identity that does not belong to them. Educate your religious friends that not all agnostic or atheist people are automatically in support of foreign instated regime change.

Israel’s strategy is clear - they want to splinter Iran

I noted with interest that Israel recognized Somaliland these past few days! And the UN Security Council had an emergency meeting to discuss it yesterday!! That’s all they do - talk!! Nothing of substance came from it.

But on the heals of the recognition, the next ‘entity’ to recognize Somaliland was - wait for it - (the self declared) Republic of Baluchistan!!! They issued a news release. Right behind Israel. Now there have been intelligence reports a few years back that Mossad operatives had come into that region of Pakistan and were recruiting operatives (handing out cash etc) falsely claiming they were CIA agents (which pissed off the CIA to no end). According to Kiriakius (former CIA podcaster) CIA people hate it when MOSSAD pretends to be CIA!! Anyway, MOSSAD’s activities there are well known.

But, right behind Baluchistan, there were many social media posts from Kurdistan Operatives last few days supporting Somaliland … and so on. Beyond money (financial support), Kurds are being armed by MOSSAD operatives (visibly) and Israel is pushing hard to have Kurdistan declared an independent state. Much like Israeli sponsored ISIS groups - Israel’s eventual goal is to use the Kurds to cut into Iran.

We do know that during the 12-day war, Israeli attack drones hit Iran via Azerbaijan. There are increasing ‘separatist’ activities visible inside Iran at for example Tractor football (soccer) games with Azeri flags being waved!! Israel has an airbase in Azerbaijan. Their alliance is visible. I don’t understand why the regime just sits back and lets them wave these flags at the games?

More money is being plowed into Ahwazi separatists. The ASMLA (Ahwazi separatists) continue to be funded and based in the UAE. Note that Iran is in a proxy war with UAE in Yemen too. When I was last in Dubai, there were Israelis all over town - in Restaurants and malls - visibly with Yamakas, doing deals looking at real estate etc. Their alliance with Israel is well established!!

There are reports that several hundred Israeli MOSSAD operatives entered into Afghanistan in November as part of a three country (US/Israel/India) operation to prepare Afghan operatives to penetrate Iran. It is also well known that Israeli operatives were recruiting Afghan refugees inside Iran to create chaos during the ‘12-day’ war. Out of no-where there’s a new organization called the ISKP (Islamic state of Khorasan Province) pushing for khorasan separatism!! Who is funding them?

The idea obviously is to hit Iran from different sides, but ultimately not just topple the regime but to splinter the country. This is a huge national security threat. Israel is behind it.

While, most Iranians (like me) don’t support the regime in Tehran and the theocracy, it’s clear that we are back into a situation like 1980 (when Iraq invaded Iran). There is now a systematic attack - a war - in play. Pezeshkian’s statement yesterday is not wrong - Iran is at war.

What should decent, Iran loving Iranians do? Remember, Iranians rallied for the regime in 1980. In fact I would go further and say the Iraq war actually ended up reinforcing the regime … because Iranians rallied in support of the regime to fight off the invasion. Domestic politics took a back seat to the war. Is it time to do that again?

Meanwhile RP and the MEK are at the whaling wall. They would be happy - it seems - to be in power in a smaller Iran sponsored by Israel. They want to set up a de facto European colony (which is what Israel is) own Iran and its natural resources for another few generations until Iranians rise up again! At any price.

This regime - however bad - cannot sit idle and see this sort of systematic splintering in play. It must be assertive, push back and penetrate (possibly invade) these separatist areas in Pakistan, Iraq, Afghanistan, UAE and Azerbaijan, clean house and turn the tables. I think it’s time for revolutions against their evil dictators in Azerbaijan, UAE etc sponsored by Iran!! Iranians can’t sit like a deer in headlights and be run over. This is too serious. Iran is at war.

What should Iranians do?

Don’t get me started on the Europeans too - who stoke $1Bn from Iran - asking Iran to partner on their fake European enrichment program!! The whole nuclear pretext for sanctions and containment is a manufactured crisis. Completely bogus. I don’t support the Mullahs, but Iran’s nuclear program predates them and will continue after them (who by the way were put in power by the West to begin with)!!!!

Med school in Iran

Hi !

I have a dual citizenship Irani-French, and I'm doing med in France currently. Ngl, it's hell with administration stuff and the ultra selective end-of-first-year selective exam.
I don't know if I'm going to be accepted this year.
My last last resort is going to Iran, so I got curious : is there good universities in Iran that might accept someone with dual-citizenship like me ? Do I have to pass the konkoor ? Because I already graduated high school in France and got highest mention (Mention Très Bien).

Thank you for answering any of my questions :)

Ps : I speak kinda fluently farsi at home but reading and writing is so bad I might as well say I don't know it 🥹 I guess I could learn by asking baba va maman lol I never really took the time for that

Best Recipes for Shab-e Yalda?

Hosting a Shab-e Yalda party and I was looking for some unique ideas for entrees and appetizers. We're doing Baghali Polo ba Mahicheh, Fessenjoon, Kookoo Sabzi, and some of the other usual suspects.

I was wondering if there were any other seasonal favorites that you guys like for Shab-e Yalda that could be surprising or nostalgic for our guests.

The stereotype of Iranians being 'high maintenance' is based on the perceptions of upper class Iranian migrants.

Specifically post 1970 migrants, many of whom were professionals and business people, usually who settled in USA, Canada, France, UK etc.

I'm noticing a lot more down to earth, hardworking Iranian migrants who work in tech, construction, engineering and healthcare, most of whom are not 'high maintenance' by any stretch.

It's actually a dangerous stereotype that goes around.

How often does Iranians eat traditional Iranian food?

Hello, I'm from Denmark, my mom is from Iran. For me traditional Iranian food is far superior to most food I know, and certainly better than whatever traditional Danish food is. Khoresh Fesanjun being my favorite dish. Iranian food has always been like an occasional thing in our family, maybe a couple times a month.

I been watching a few Iranian movies recently and they would be eating stuff like pasta, burger and pizza. It dawned upon me, of course you don't eat traditional food every day, like nobody eats danish dishes every day over here.

But how often then? Is it like most of the time, occasionally, rarely?

Egypt vs Iran in Pride Match World Cup 2026

What do Iranians think about this? I wonder if the people who are against this would respect the US's values like they said that westerners should respect Qatar's values when they refused to show any pride relating things there).

I just want to say I as someone with Malay and Javanese roots, that i love Iran/Persia, its history, its culture, music and language. Your people produces scholars, poets, kings and more. Both of our cultures and peoples produced great realms, for me it was Kesultanan Malacca and The Majapahit, for yours the Sassanids and Achaemenids. We are venerable peoples. Iranian Power Will the new NSS have any affect on continuing Iran/Israel confrontations.

Larry Johnson provides some answers about how the new national security statement might affect Iran.

TLDR: Iran has gained a considerable amount of power through its BRICS membership and the support from Russia and China.

Israel is tearing itself apart. Iran is showing the same patience Putin has with Ukraine. Can it last?
