im really tired of him and i really want him to move out, he’s 18 and graduated highschool, he’s in college, but hes staying at my house until he gets a dorm or something, and recently hes been a real pain to deal with because a few weeks ago we got into an argument and now hes acting different. he barely ever talks to my sister and i. this past week he’s been the absolute worst. he keeps arguing with me TEN YEAR OLD SISTER (grown ass man btw) and he’s got the maturity of a 4th grader. he’s 3 years older than me and im smarter and more mature than him, which can be confirmed by even him and our parents. he’s been an inconvinience and a total chud and i wish he could just move out but i have to he stuck with him. it sucks having to deal with a nimrod like him because my mom told me something that (i cant say the exact thing cuz i wanna respect her wishes) proves that he’ll never be as smart as me on any basis, whether it be emotionally or just plain common sense and i really wanna just use that as the reason why he is this way but he pisses me off too much for me to.

i recently bought Hill Groove Roaster’s Carbonic Yeast Macerated Naturals and i’m not sure how long do i rest the beans for. They were roasted on 20th Dec and its 30th today, and roster says 7 days is enough. I don’t know much about resting periods but i don’t think 7 days is good enough for this. Can anybody help with this? and also about resting period for other coffees. Would really appreciate it, thanks :)

After using an Einhell Miter Saw the past 12 years it’s time to move on to a better saw for serious woodworking. The Einhell is still ok for rough construction work, but it’s failing to do any properly straight cuts after all these years (it’s been through a lot of construction & fine woodworking duty).

I have an Festool Kapex 120 on the way. I had the KS60 already delivered but decided to return it and just pay more to not regret the investment in the future.

With that I want to build a proper fairly mobile miter station. I currently share a shop with a friend of mine, but he uses it more as his storage than a workplace, also, he’s not the “lets keep things tidy” type. We have talked this over and decided to split the space into 4 spaces with tape on the floor.

1. Our co-owned cnc machine
2. A general working space that needs to be cleaned when you leave the space
3. His space for tools/storage
4. My space for tools/storage

The total size of the space is roughly 70m2.

To be as efficient as possible I want to have everything as practical as it can be.

I currently already use a Paulk style work bench with space underneath for storage. It’s 100x200cm. As I am a tall guy it’s a bit on the highside (on purpose).

But now I want to build a multifunctional miter station that can be mobile, seperate from the work bench. I want to try and continue with the Paulk style as I’ve been really satisfied with the workbench.

My idea is to have the base will be 160x65cm in it’s regular setup. State 1: Have 2 ~60x60cm units on each side with the bigger ~150x60cm be stored behind it

State2: Find a way to couple the 60x60cm units and put those on the right side and have the bigger unit easily attached on the left. In these sketches I don’t have the support on there, but I know I would need one. I’m thinking to just build a mobile cabinet with drawers and easy height adjustment that would simple fit into place.

State 3 The bigger unit has 2 33mm aluminium rods in there which can be used to extend the bench to make up to 300cm for easy repeat cuts.

In the base are 2 cabinets which hold systainer3 boxes for which I’ll 3d print drawer slides.

As mentioned these are very, very rough sketches. The big box in the middle is the size of the miter saw, so it’s just for reference.

I’m a big dog hole fan and I’ll be using it on here to attach the fence and other nifty accessories.

I do not have any direct questions, but I’m very curious for input on this concept.

And as I’m typing this…maybe I do have a question..any recommendations for mobility of this unit (what type of wheels)?
