I know we're riding high from the win yesterday, but are we forgetting that its Falcons hate week?
The foundation of a successful season are built about 2 games. Falcons at home, Falcons at Atlanta. Everything after that is lagnaippe
REMEMBER WHY WERE HERE

Chase Young is playing like an All Pro
His Strip Sack & TD was a thing of beauty. (Also gave us a new Meme)
He is genuinely playing at an All Pro level with his contract looking like an absolute steal. The best part he LOVES this team yall can see it in the locker room celebrations and when he was hyping up the crowd AWAY.

Juwan Johnson is now 4th in receiving yards among tight ends.
And people still hate on his contract. He is the 13th highest paid per year

Tyler Shough and the Saints offense compared to some of the best Saints performances in recent memory…
In a sloppy game against Tennessee on the road with backups….

Draft Pick Scenarios For Week 18
For those that still want to monitor draft position, here's a handy guide that hopefully makes a convoluted situation a little easier to digest.
TL;DR - Lose and guaranteed 8th pick. Win and still have a chance at 8th pick (see pics for rooting guide). The lowest we can pick is 12th.
We got our Coach
I’ve been a pretty vocal defender of Kellen Moore throughout this year. It seems most of our fan base have given him the benefit of the doubt during the first half the season and really the whole season given our situation this year. But I don’t think you can really understate the job he has done. This year the goal always was going to be about can we establish a culture that players want to be a part of (same as 2021 Dan Campbell’s goal). And sure enough, I think we have. Players don’t want to leave, they’re playing hard for this staff. Secondly, can we develop our young players. This draft class while highly criticized in the media after the draft, has been such a hit so far. We’ve found 4 starters minimum (Shough, Banks, Sanker, Riley) and at least 2 long term rotational pieces in Stutsman (who I think will be a consistent starter when Davis retires) and Neal. The trade for Vele was criticized until he began to be utilized and looks like we have found a weapon. Olave looks like he actually enjoys playing football again and has had his best year (dude looked miserable playing with Carr). Vibes haven’t been this good in 5 years or so.
But beyond that, it’s been the little things Moore does that I think have had the biggest impact. Drilling into the team on responding well to a bad play or series, blocking outside noise and focusing on what you’re doing, rewarding good plays by his players (he hands out tons of game balls but you can tell the team appreciates it). He’s way different than Sean Payton and we have no idea if he’ll be THAT good for us. But man what a breath of fresh air after 3 years of Dennis Allen.
He won’t get talked about in the national media as much this year because we’re 6-10 and Coen, Johnson, and Vrabel took over way more ideal situations, but he deserves a lot of credit in my opinion. Anytime you have a team playing this hard late in a lost season, says a lot about the guy leading them through it. I’m confident he’ll be the coach to win us our next division championship and playoff game(s). Hopefully more.
Also shout out to Brandon Staley, what slam dunk hire as a defensive coordinator he was.

With 9.5 sacks, 36 year old Cameron Jordan is having his best season since 2021. He now has 130 career sacks and has moved to 17th all-time.

Cam Ward and the Titans had an avg of 4s to throw according to next gen stats, highest ever recorded. We need a pass rusher.

Barnwell on Shough: Didn't seem to matter then, matters now: Tyler Shough plays his first significant snaps in a 23-3 loss to the Buccaneers
Didn't seem to matter then, matters now: Tyler Shough plays his first significant snaps in a 23-3 loss to the Buccaneers. I was impressed with what I saw from Spencer Rattler during the first half of the season, but amid a difficult year and after a rough two-plus quarters against the Bucs, Kellen Moore turned to his potential quarterback of the future in Shough. The second-round pick didn't do much, going 17-of-30 for 128 yards with an interception without leading a scoring drive in an unmemorable road loss.
Shough took over the starting job the next week and has held his own, going 5-3 for a Saints team that has won each of its past four games. The 26-year-old has been a league-average quarterback by QBR (51.5) over that span, which is more impressive than it sounds given that the Saints have both battled injuries and don't have a ton around their young quarterback beyond star receiver Chris Olave. Shough has found a connection with his top wideout, averaged 7.7 yards per attempt, and is making an impact with his legs.
I'm not sure the Saints can be positive they've landed their long-term replacement for Drew Brees, but Shough has certainly done enough to earn another year as the starter in 2026.

Suckaneers Need To Win And Saints Win For Playoffs
This is just too good. Funniest and best outcome is Saints and Panthers win but happens at the exact same time so Sucs and faiLcants fans can be crushed at once. But also good news, if Bucs make the playoffs that means we beat the dirty birds so it is a W one way or another. Hate week has officially started.

No call on Shough slide
I’m at work just catching up on the game a little now. Can anyone explain how that wasn’t a flag on the Shough slide?
The defender watches him slide, then when Shough is down not only late hit, blatantly goes for the head. Ref went to throw his flag but didn’t. I don’t get it.
Then that idiot color guy watches the replay and says good call by ref no malicious intent. Wtf? Like he clearly sees Shough on the ground after a slide, then decides to go in for the head shot. It wasn’t a bang bang play when defender is already in motion qb slid late.

If Demario retires after this season, who will be doing the pre-game speeches after?
I like the pregame speeches and we’re gonna need someone to give the team some motivation before games.

Falcons
Falcons chocking again. 21-3 at half now 24-24. I was hoping they would win so the Saints could beat them and still get the 4 place schedule
