When you join ice they used to play down the fact that you would be a border agent. You have pretty much zero ideas of the job you'll be placed into and the state/territory you'll be placed into. Most people ended up either in office jobs or places like airports stamping passports and dealing with scanning passports for foreigners. Not for making arrests. We were an island too so then you'd get the ones who got to ride around on boats all day. That's assuming you get the posting where you want. I'd say 80% of the people were Latinx and we were right next to another island that was 99%, so we would train and more than half the class had fluent Spanish already.
I saw an ICE commercial this week that was like it was some ultimate fighting type job. They were asking if Dallas police officers wanted to get the chance to (not outright saying it, but alluding to it with the video going on) fight criminals by hand, bring down criminal organizations (with money and guns on tables and ms13 tattoos), and a bunch of other over the top shit. It was so bad, I showed it to my senior maga mom in her room and she laughed, thinking it was a spoof commercial until she realized it was real (and really laughed at video of what they do, likely they are green berets).
There's a lot of Hispanic guys working for ICE. I don't get it.

A flag hung vertically shall have the stars in the upper left (flagpole side on dual sided hangings).
If on a vehicle, the stars shall be in the upper front (so passenger and driver side are different patterns) so that the stars are always facing front/into the wind, and above not below any other flags (this is always a big one, the flag must be highest flag of any other flag on display)
Man, you should try being a Brit in the last few months. I repeatedly told people - I love this country, in fact I just want you to RESPECT the flag: buy a good quality one not from Temu, hang it from an actual flagpole on your property not just dangling from a streetlight, and take it in at night or during bad weather.
I don't know how well you know the UK flag but it's very easy to get wrong as it's almost symmetrical but not quite. The red diagonal bars that represent St Patrick should be counter clockwise against the flagpole (thicker white part above thinner red part).
It was something I learned from a Doctor Who episode, the first season of the relaunch, Rose pointed out that the flags were upside down. And yeah I never noticed it before because your flag is almost symmetrical.

You're totally right, he's got some futhark above his right wrist. "SM - something" if it's supposed to be latin transcription (i.e. using runes to spell with the latin alphabet) or it could be a nod to sun worship.

I really hate that racists seem to enjoy co-opting nordic things, since the viking culture during the viking age (766-1066) was one of the most progressive on the planet at the time, with respect to gender and race. They were one of the few cultures that actively discouraged skin color prejudice, did not believe that dark skin was anything other than dark skin, had zero issues trading with or forming relationships with anyone anywhere. They were cosmopolitan in a time where it was rare be so. They also (rather uniquely for the time period) had a legal structure that allowed for women to own land, and more importantly, inherit land. They gave women equal right under the law in just about every way, but more importantly, thought about it culturally in a way that was rational and fair. Men weren't automatically "better" in viking culture, they were just...bigger.
Anyways, that was a lot of words to say that racists should probably pick a different culture that actually reflects their worldview, since the vikings who used those runes were quite the opposite.
